Internships
The Department of History is offering junior and senior history majors an opportunity to secure valuable experience working in the field of history. Previous interns have worked for the Washington County Historical Society and the Arkansas Historical Association. We may expand the program to include the Shiloh Museum and other historical groups in the northwest Arkansas area. Interns work a minimum of ten (10) hours per week and receive $7.00 per hour. Interns must meet with Professor Jeannie Whayne periodically throughout the semester (Old Main 416). The internships are awarded for one semester but are renewable provided evaluations demonstrate merit and as long as the interns are enrolled as full-time students.
